Why Create a Google Ads Campaign?
Google Ads allows you to reach a lot more people than you can organically by targeting a large number of keywords and phrases. Google’s large partner network and relatively low cost also allows you to test multiple campaign types with a small budget. You can run what’s called “A/B Testing” too. This allows you to run two almost identical ads to the same market so you can see which one performs the best.
You are also able to link your Google Ads campaigns and Google Analytics so you can track users as they move through your site. This allows you to get very detailed demographic data to help you create content that will keep your user on your site. It also means you can create custom ad campaigns for different demographics. However, our favourite part of Google Ads is their geotargeting feature. You are able to target postcodes, suburbs, states and countries, or by radius. You can target people to within a kilometer which is very handy if you have a shop in a shopping centre for instance. A shop in a shopping centre could put a radius of 1km and target people who are in or close by to the location to increase foot traffic to their store.
